Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Words cannot describe how sweet and hardworking my kindergartners are! They absolutely love school and genuinely love learning. They are some of the most humble and caring students you will ever come across. The majority of my kids come from low income households with limited resources. I would love to provide my students with new book bins and table caddies this year. I would also like to provide my students with some magnetic letters. These magnetic letters will be used for our literacy centers.
My Project
I am humbly requesting book bins, table caddies, and magnetic letters for my Kindergarten students. The black bins will be used as book boxes for my students this year. Unfortunately the majority of the book bins that we have been using broke. We have had our book boxes for 5 years now and no amount of tape seems to keep them together for long anymore. My students really love having their own little place to store all of their favorite books so these book bins will mean a lot to us. The table caddies will be used to store my students crayons, glue sticks, scissors, and pencils. They will keep our materials organized and easily accessible. The magnetic letters will be used for our literacy centers. My kindergarten students will be able to explore writing their sight words, cvc words, and vocabulary words in a fun and engaging way!
