I have 27 energetic students who appreciate their right of CHOICE! Everyday my students choose their learning area for the day. They choose between floor desks, yoga balls, donut cushions, outside mats, and stability discs.
Because they don't have traditional desks to put their things in, we would like book bins to take their things wherever they go!
Often times, students have a HUGE stack on the floor next to them consisting of their Chromebook, bell work, math book, math journal, and pencil pouch. Sometimes their belongings get stepped on or lost.
I have a few book bins in my room to organize our library books and they thought it would be a great idea to have a book bin of their own!
Because students sit at different seats every day. They often times lose their supplies. Many of my students have gone through their 2 packs of pencils in the first quarter! Many misplaced their scissors, art supplies, important papers.
These book bins will allow them to take their Chromebook, binder, and supplies with them to their learning spot for that day!
The book bins will also help my students better understand organization and responsibility. With these book bins their area will be organized and ready to learn! Their cubbies will also be organized so it will be easier to find their supplies. The bins will also help students be more responsible for their important project papers.
