Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Kindergarten and first grade students are so excited about art and they love to share it. One specific item they love to use to create is tempera paint sticks.

Tempera paint sticks fill a page with beautiful, bright colors evenly and quickly, encouraging young artists to fill their entire page with color.

Another beautiful advantage is they work well on simple paper and dry quickly. Kindergarten students always want to bring their finished art home to share as soon as possible. The paint sticks allow them to take their art home the very same day.

We have already completed pandas, toucans, tigers, and bunnies with our existing paint sticks. We will end the year with a few more animals such as jellyfish and seahorses.

With paint sticks, students can create just about anything. Thank you for considering this project.
