it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My third graders enjoy playing board games during indoor recess and other activities. Having a variety of board games is essential to keeping my students entertained during days when we cannot go outside for recess. Instead of being on their computers, my students are creating friendships and using problem solving skills to play games. Using these skills helps them build friendships and encourages healthy competition. It also teaches them skills such as good sportsmanship. Having a board game day can also be a class reward that students enjoy as a group.
