Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My fourth graders are avid readers and writers. They have a variety of alternative seating options, and love being empowered with the choice of where to sit in my classroom.

Having a brand-new bright blue vinyl Lounge & Learn couch would provide my students with a fun place to sit while reading and writing.

The couch is the perfect size for students to share with a partner during buddy reading. They would use the couch every day during our Daily 5 time while I meet with guided reading groups.

My fourth graders would adore having a Lounge & Learn Couch as a new favorite seating area to work on literacy. We have the perfect spot for it in the corner of our nonfiction class library. Thanks for considering my project.
