Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Block play is a powerful way for blooming kindergarteners to learn. When accessories are included with the blocks, students can also express themselves in the world as they know it, and discover ways to interact with peers around them who may have other perspectives. This is especially important as my students come from rich and diverse cultural backgrounds.

By donating to this project, you provide the block accessories that will allow kindergarteners to represent their families, and cultures, and communicate with one another about our community.

These accessories will help students build relationships with one another within the classroom, expressing themselves as they build with blocks. The community resources within this project allow students to build upon their curiosity and understanding of their community.

Please support my students in learning about one another and our diverse community through these block play accessories!
