This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are such a fun and lovable group. My students come from varying ethnic backgrounds.
My students light up my world and remind me daily why I chose to become an educator.
I truly appreciate each one of my students. They teach me just as much as I teach them. My students have a variety of learning styles that are as varied as they are. My classroom is very diverse; therefore, having a variety of ways to learn is essential.
My Project
Our class is in need our phonics tools to challenge us to become better readers. We practice our reading skills daily in class and are always seeking fun and innovative ways to practice these skills. We are also in need of a lamp to help us in creating routines and structure in class. The lamp will enable us to know when the teacher is working with a small group of the necessary reading skills we need. Kerplunk will also allow our class to reward students that are being model classroom citizens.
