Help me give my students the supplies their teacher needs to help them this year. All materials from the microphone to the mouse and apron will make me more efficient.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach a diverse group of seventh-grade students from New York! I have students from various nationalities, who speak different languages, come from different socio-economic backgrounds, and have different interests. Each child brings a different story and a different aspect of my class!
One of the many wonderful things about being an educator in NYC is that we have the opportunity to service and be of help to so many different children.
I take my job and my role seriously and hope to make a difference in their lives.
My Project
These materials will make a difference with my student's learning because as we navigate these new ways of teaching I will need the proper tools. From March-June I did remote teaching to my best ability, but I noticed some problems such as not being loud/clear enough, back pain from sitting for extended periods, and I realized if I had the proper material this would not be a problem.
With blended learning, I will have to be both remote and in-person without a classroom.
The apron will help me carry supplies I need from place to place. I am nervous, yet excited about this new world of teaching and I hope with these materials I can be better than before.
