My students are in the 7th grade in Queens, New York. They are enthusiastic, sweet, and would be extremely grateful if they were able to receive new books. Although they are appreciative of what I have, I always feel so bad when they ask for a type of book or a specific book that I do not have. I have spent hundreds on my classroom library over the years and at this point, I am really tapped out. At my school, my administration and the parents are extremely open to all kinds of books and will be extremely happy if given this donation. Parents are always encouraging their children to read and often come to me with advice on what his/her child should be reading.
