My Project

My school is a Title I school, which means it has been designated as being one that is high in poverty in our district. With students entering the classroom they are innovative, loving, generous, and kind which they are grateful for all the challenges and blessings that life bring. My students are beautifully unique and embrace learning. They always want to know more and the result of their growth every day is incredible.

With students being able to read will help shape our world for future community helpers.

Teaching kindergarten is so exciting as students enter the classroom filled with lots of different abilities, and interests which is the start of foundational skills. With some students entering kindergarten for the first time, have access to the literacy materials will help them learn how to manipulate sounds to make words, as well as putting letters together to make words and form sentences to enhance their reading skills. The materials will also assist during small group which students work as a group engaging in activities where they can learn from each other. Students love to learn when they believe they are just playing in a comfortable area with cushioned seating. In our class, we strive to get the best education every day by practicing our literacy skills daily. Help me give my students the literacy materials that will enhance their reading ability to be successful.
