Through arts, students develop skills like resilience, a meaning of building positive self-esteem, and a growth mindset that helps them master their craft, and do well academically, and be successful in life after high school. My students enjoy engaging in art activties because it give them a fulfillment of excitement and motivation while using their imaginations.
Giving students the greatest gift of art and humanity is to help them understand, appreciate, and the ability to be creative. Art is at the very core of our identity as humans.
These materials will increase students social interaction, eye-hand coordination, fine motor skills and imagination and experimentation through creativity. Some of my students are unable to verbalize their thoughts, so providing them with a variety of art materials allows them to express their thoughts through drawings.
About my class
