This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Everyone needs a Mrs. Hannigan. Mrs. Hannigan was my 1st grade teacher that impacted my life and love of reading at a very early age. She did anything that she could to ensure that her students not only were able to read but absolutely loved to do it. She would read us books every single day and even brought in an antique clawfoot tub for us to sit in and read!

This project will give my students a large number of books that my 1st grade teacher read to my class in the early 2000's.
