My Project

The majority of my students are African Americans. They are very inquisitive and want to learn about their history. Despite the challenges they face living in a low socioeconomic area, they are very eager to learn and are very expressive.

Please help me give my students the materials needed to show their learning of inspiring African Americans and their achievements through mixed media.

The materials that I've selected are essential for my students to complete their projects. They will be creating a form of media to show what they learned about inspiring African Americans or a time in history that impacted African Americans. The technology and green screen will enable my students to create projects through digital media. They will be able to produce work through podcasts, recorded spoken words, video presentations, skits, art, and other forms of creative expression.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
