My Students

Hello! Kindergarteners are one of a kind. During this school year, my kindergarteners learn a lot. They learn to be independent problem-solvers, group members, and citizens of the community. Kindergarteners love to explore, move, and tell all about themselves. These projects will help kick off their school career and help make their experience memorable.

My Project

For Black History Month, I wish to provide my kindergarteners a variety of books to read, share, and learn from. It is so important for my students to see themselves in books. I wish to use these books to read aloud to my students and locate them in the reading center. These books provide rich literacy about the black culture. It is so much fun to hear the students say, "they look like me" or "I can be like her/him too." Students see the world through books and it's important that they see themselves represented in the world
