Black History Is Everyone's History!

Help me give my students exciting prizes for learning about the amazing people and contributions of African Americans through our month-long Black History Month Extravaganza.

My Project

I love that our students are open to learning new things. I take pride in that every year during Black History Month. I introduce new activities for students to learn more about the lesser-known Black greats.

Black History is very important for all students to learn.

I have planned activities for students to learn more about unknown Black History. Instead of the traditional way of teaching, I am using the art of competition to teach about Black History. The bracelets, shirts, and fidgets will be used to get the students more excited to complete the activities. It is important for children to explore the different cultures they interact with on a daily basis. Nothing feels better when you open students' minds to new things. The goal is to get students to continue their learning of Black History even after the month is over.
