My Students
My high school students are enthusiastic, motivated, dedicated, hardworking and above all, very curious learners. They are very interested in learning biology, the science of life.
We are a high performing school, where every student strives to achieve their highest potential and become a citizen with strong science-based skills—not only in specific content areas but also with skills such as critical thinking and inquiry-based problem solving.
My goal for my students is to help them attain their academic goals, their science-based skills, be good citizens and inspire them to be life-long learners.
My Project
Color can play a very important role in the biology classroom. Having a computer in my classroom connected to a color printer will open up a world of creativity and learning. My Biology and AP Biology students will be able to use technology to create biology drawings, data tables, graphs, flowcharts, word clouds, etc. The list is endless and then be able to print their work in color. It will also help my teaching and my students learning if I am able to print my visual aids in color.
Students will be able to use the classroom laptop during lab work to collect data using various data collecting devices such as probes, spectrophotometers and digital microscopes, then graph and analyze collected data, and finally print out their incredible work in color.
Being able to see their work in color will be rewarding and motivating for my students.
