Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

By using microscope slides, students can dive into the microscopic world of different organisms. DNA models can help students visualize our genetic makeup. Benedict's solution and Biurets reagent will be utilized when performing a macromolecule lab to test for the presence of starch in everyday foods, making the content learned relevant. With the phospholipid and membrane transport kit, students will be able to visualize the molecular makeup of our cell's membrane. Dissection kits are amazing tools that give students the ability to view specimens up close and how these specimens can relate to our own anatomy.

Science is an amazing topic that is best learned hands-on.

In my biology class, we enjoy learning by doing. Having these materials available will allow my students to get the best out of their learning environment. The possibilities will be endless. Thank you for your support.
