My Project

There is something special about having books in the hands of my students. I would love to provide biographies for my students to choose from and read during their research time.

My students will explore, read, and learn about a person who has impacted United States history.

Together we will synthesize information from two sources. We will ask questions, refer explicitly to text for answers and present our learning to our classmates.

In addition to reading, building our comprehension and speaking skills, we will also be writing. We will conduct a short research project and write paragraphs to teach our classmates about our chosen person’s life and the impact they had on U.S. history.
