In my third grade class, we follow a writing process. The steps we follow include a pre-write, drafting, editing, and revising. The binder will help us to stay organized and on track. In addition, the binder allows us to keep examples and checklists to help guide us in becoming independent writers. Throughout the year we participate in non-fiction research, writing opinion pieces, prompt writing, and personal narratives. The pouch will hold our writing materials such as erasers, pencils, markers for editing, and highlighters for research and to record our evidence.
