Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year I want to have my students do a different type of project than we have done in the past. Previously my students worked on animal reports, but this year I would like to have my students learn about people using biographies for young learners so they can complete a living history report.

Students will read about an important person, write about them and then create a display to give a speech and teach the rest of the class about the person they have been learning about.

This will help students learn to read, write, create a presentation and practice oral speaking skills.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
