My Project

My students are inquisitive and love to learn! However, my students also need support for reading, which makes accessing grade level materials a struggle. When students feel they can't read, their motivation to learn slowly dwindles over time.

By having the ability to produce custom reading materials, I can ensure that my students have access to relevant content throughout the school year.

Having a binding machine will allow me to create custom books tailored to each of my special education students' reading abilities. This will help ensure they can access grade-level curriculum content more equitably.

What makes my students truly special is their unwavering curiosity and enthusiasm for learning, despite facing challenges in accessing grade-level reading materials. As a spec ed teacher a main priority of mine is to modify curriculum where necessary to ensure my students can access it. This resource will help me not only create equitable materials, but also ensure that these materials will last for years to come.
