This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
I have the pleasure of teaching 10th grade students. I strive each day to provide an engaging learning environment so that they can enjoy being at school. This can be a challenge with all the different learning styles and needed differentiation in the lesson.
They are hard working students who do not have access to a variety of resources to facilitate their learning.
My students are enthusiastic learners who enjoy being in my class. Therefore, I try my best to provide as much resources as possible to assist their daily needs.
I want my students to have the ink they need for all their printing needs as well as dividers and binders. The ink will help my students with printing inside the classroom, the lamp will assist with the lighting over the printer. The pandemic has caused our local libraries to shut down to appointments only and many of my students wouldn't have the transportation to get their if they wanted to. My goal was to make sure they had access to a printer for their varying needs and now I would like to keep that momentum going by supplying them with more ink, binders, and dividers.
