This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are at an age where choice and preferences is often not noted. In my class I provide a welcoming and comfortable environment for learning and for students who do not have that to go home to. My students have outgrown their seating options and I want to continue providing flexible seating with these cushions!

My students are such hard workers and come to school with the willingness to learn and I want to continue to contribute to their educational journey.

This will be done by providing them with flexible seating.

Flexible seating has been such a benefit in my class. Many students in my class come from home lives where they have to share their own things due to their living dynamic at home. In my class I love that they are caring and want to share but, I want to be able to provide individual seating options with these cushions. Students are not just great collaboratively; they work wonderfully independently. So if I can provide them with a choice of seating to compliment to their learning experience...well that would be of a blessing!
