Help me give my students Spanish bilingual books! We have many students who come to our school needing ways to help them learn English and strengthen their native language abilities. Bilingual books offer them that experience!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Students at our school may come from diverse backgrounds and be at more risk due to their low socioeconomic status, but they have a curiosity and zest for learning! Despite facing challenges in and out of the classroom, they view our school and classrooms as a safe place, where they are free to explore, make mistakes, and engross themselves in the things that make learning enjoyable. As their teachers, we are continually looking for opportunities to provide them with creative and meaningful learning experiences, both in the classroom and out!
My Project
We love books at our school, but have a specific need for books that are written in English and Spanish. For many of our students that are new to the United States or new to speaking English, we love to provide them with bilingual books so that they can begin to learn using their own native language of Spanish.
Bilingual Books to Build Connections will provide students with Spanish and English content in rich literature that they can enjoy.
Students will be able to see the languages in print, match the language to pictures, and build their native Spanish language and English language vocabulary!
