Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of my newcomer/immigrant students are bilingual. I do not have very many books in Spanish. The books will help my library grow and have books for these students. My newcomer/immigrant students will also be able to check out these books to take home and read with their families.

Many of my newcomer/immigrant students and their families don't get enough food.

The food in this project will be used to make snack bags for them to take home and share with their immigrant families. The wipes will also be given to the new newcomer/immigrant families that need them.
