My Project

My students are special because they come from all over the world! They speak English at school, but go home and communicate with their families in another language.

My students love checking out books in their native language!

They love taking them home and showing their parents. Not only is it great for the students, but the parents know that we are celebrating and supporting the culture that they originated from.

These books will be great additions to the Bilingual Collection that we have managed to develop through previous Donors Choose projects. The Hawaiian-English books will be especially sought after since we have new students who speak Hawaiian.
