Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love watching my students grow—not just academically, but as confident communicators and thoughtful collaborators. There is something incredibly rewarding about seeing them learn to share ideas, solve problems together, and support one another through play. Each of these giant games will nurture those skills in meaningful ways. Connect 4 and giant tic-tac-toe encourage strategic thinking and respectful turn-taking while students discuss their moves. Stepping stones build balance and confidence as students guide and cheer each other on. Knock down numbers promotes teamwork and number recognition as students work together toward a shared goal. The giant memory game strengthens focus and communication as students help one another remember and match pieces. The giant LCR game adds an element of excitement while reinforcing social interaction, patience, and good sportsmanship. Together, these games will create opportunities for my students to connect, communicate, and grow in ways that will stay with them far beyond the playground.
