My Project

Fourth graders are the BEST (at least I think so)! Fourth grade is a pivotal year in many students' academic, physical, and emotional development. Students in fourth grade are learning who they are as individuals and start to develop strong feelings about their future education.

Fourth graders go through some major changes, but they are still loving, playful kids who thoroughly enjoy being able to choose a fun spot to sit around the room, whether they are reading a book, working independently, or collaborating with their peers.

Allowing students the opportunity to choose a comfortable seat appeals to their desire to be more independent.

Providing students with flexible seating options like a bungee chair and lap desks helps create a positive experience in the classroom and allows them to develop their sense of individuality. Even though they are "big kids", they still enjoy reading a novel in a bean bag chair!
