Students can now find more stories in our library that spark their interest while also meeting them where they are. I love that they have more books at their fingertips that fill them with excitement to read. They will also really enjoy the new bookshelf. These boards provide a hands-on learning experience that allows my students to manipulate letters and create words in a tactile way. This interactive approach has not only made phonics lessons more enjoyable but has also significantly improved my students' phonemic awareness and spelling skills.\r\n\r\nOne of the most impactful aspects of using the magnetic letter boards is how they cater to different learning styles. For my visual learners, the colorful letters provide a stimulating way to recognize and differentiate between sounds. Kinesthetic learners thrive as they physically arrange the letters, reinforcing their understanding through movement. Additionally, the collaborative nature of using the boards encourages teamwork and communication among students, fostering a supportive learning environment.\r\n\r\nI have seen students who once struggled with phonics gain confidence as they experiment with letter combinations and see their ideas come to life on the boards. The joy on their faces when they successfully spell a word or create a sentence is truly priceless. It has ignited a passion for reading and writing that I believe will have a lasting impact on their academic journey.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, my classroom has become a vibrant space where learning is both fun and effective. I am excited to continue using the magnetic letter boards in my lessons, and I look forward to sharing more success stories with you as my students progress.\r\n\r\nThank you once again for your support and belief in the power of education. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of young learners.","fullyFundedDate":1730742000167,"projectUrl":"project/magnetic-letters-for-learning/8914615/","projectTitle":"Magnetic Letters for Learning!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Gresham","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp4445484_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1712108696707","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/4445484"},{"teacherId":3628618,"projectId":8908212,"letterContent":"With your donations, we were able to expand our collection of 3D printing filament. They learned turn-taking skills while playing the First Orchard game. They learned spatial concepts like IN, OVER, and THROUGH as they followed verbal directions to place the gingerbread men. They passed out the shiny hearts to peers, learning quantity concepts like MORE and LESS. They sorted fruit by type and color.
