My Project

As a school counselor, I work with students every day to help them build the social and emotional skills they need to be successful both in and out of the classroom. Many children struggle to express their feelings with words alone. Creative, hands-on activities such as art and sand play provide a safe, engaging way for students to explore emotions, develop coping strategies, and practice self-regulation.

With your support, I will purchase art supplies, kinetic sand, sand trays, and other therapeutic materials that allow students to learn through creativity and play.

These tools help students identify their emotions, manage stress and anxiety, strengthen problem-solving skills, and build resilience in a supportive environment.

When students have healthy ways to process their emotions, they are better able to focus in class, develop positive relationships, and reach their full potential. Your generosity will help create meaningful counseling experiences that foster confidence, emotional well-being, and lifelong coping skills.
