My Project

I am the department chairperson of our Social Studies department at Arsenal Technical High School. Our student population has grown, with over half of our learners being new language learners. We have five new US History teachers this year, with three of them being brand new to teaching.

With the complex relationship between new teachers and ENL (English as a New Language) these books will build a bridge for learning American History.

I have used this book in my classroom for several years now and believe it does an excellent job introducing American History.
