My Students

I love my students and their positivity despite hardships. In our classroom we believe mistakes show that we are trying. We believe in the power of “yet.” Maybe we don’t understand, yet. I have a student who lost his home in the Carr fire. Many people in our community have been affected by the terrible fire. We are staying strong. Many of my students have to change classrooms to be in my classroom and that can be very hard. Thank you!

My Project

My students need a carpet in their classroom to sit on for story time and for Number Talks. Thank you so much for supporting my classroom! “Carpet time” is an essential part of learning in Kindergarten. My students are able to be close to me while I read to them and show them the pictures. This way they can relate to the book more and interact with it. I can also do flash cards and number talks with the group. Having a carpet will help my students stay focused and see the teaching materials. Thank you for your donation to help my students.
