What began last year as a small group has grown so much that we now have two full groups of 2nd–5th graders who show up every week excited to learn. The students are excited to be designing and printing their own robot pieces. They've seen 3D‑printed items before, but to be able to print their own is a dream come true. They're already talking about what they want to build next year.\r\nFor many of our kids, especially those from low‑income households, access to hands‑on technology like this is rare. When they get to use real tools, it encourages them and helps them feel like, 'I really can do this.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping make this possible. Between wanting to be the first kid to put their feet on our new rugs, to also wanting to explore our building blocks, to also wanting to play with some of our new games--my students couldn't be happier to explore all the library has to offer. Your generous donation has helped to make the library less of a testing and meeting center for adults, and more of a kid-friendly space that my students love being in.\r\nMany of my students have never been in a library outside of a school setting.
