My classroom includes a diverse population of students. They are creative, full of energy and are eager to come to school each day to learn.
Students are engaged in lessons and hands-on experiences and workshops all day long.
My hope is to create an inclusive environment that meets the learning styles of all my students.
In Kindergarten, students begin to learn what they need to be a successful learner. In order for my young friends to build a love of learning, they need engaging and purposeful learning opportunities.
My Project
My Kindergarten class has many eager eyes. All of my students want to be close to the book.
Big books help each young reader lean in closer to the story and foster a love of literature!
I want to bring more Big Book opportunities to my students. Donations to my project will build a rich library with these beloved titles. After reading as a class, my students will use the Big Books to build fluency and reading skills that they can practice with a partner! I cannot wait to watch my students become engaged in the Big Book learning experience!
