I am requesting 4 Hokki seats. Some Kindergartners need movement. Hokki seats allow for safe and gentle movement opportunities. A full day of Kindergarten asks 5 year olds to focus and learn for long stretches. At this time, the only option we have are traditional chairs. A donation to this project will improve student learning as movement needs are met and focus is increased. While we take frequent movement breaks, these seats will help my young friends who need even more frequent opportunities to move. Having these seats will give them gentle way to move while the rest of our class continues to work.
