Please help!! Our classroom big books are homeless! I use big books almost everyday in my kindergarten classroom to read aloud to my children, as well as teach them how to track print from left to right, identify the difference between words and letters, and highlight our word wall words. The children love to revisit these stories during their independent reading time and practice these skills. However, I have no way to make the big books easily accessible to them. Right now, they are under a cabinet and are prone to being stepped on and not cared for properly. I am working very hard to instill a love for books in my children and I want them to have a special place for our big books and realize how treasured they are. I am asking for a big book storage cube and easel to house our books. Thank you for taking the time to read my proposal and getting our big books off the floor!
