My Students
Each day my students walk through the door holding "Hope" in their hands. "Hope" that they will be recognized for their uniqueness, have time to cultivate their learning, and thrive in an environment where taking risks is encouraged. As my "scholars" enter "Scholar University," they find this atmosphere and more.
Our key philosophy is "Experiment, Fail, Learn, Iterate" and helps to foster the Growth Mindset needed to create successful learners in today's society. With our 1:1 iPad program, we have been working to help share our learning with the world and want to continue to do so. Your contribution will help tremendously with this.
My Project
I created this list of current book titles based on our class's reading patterns and inquisitiveness about new books. I want my scholars to not only voraciously read in school but outside as well. I want them to fall in love with a book and not stop reading. We have exhausted our classroom library and desperately need additional titles.
These variety of titles are our class's "dream" titles to read!
Included in this list is a variety of fiction, non-fiction and fun reads. The mixture of time traveling and choose your own adventures are sure to be a hit in our classroom.
