My Students

My students are from a variety of backgrounds and elementary schools. My school serves students from all over our district as an arts magnet. I teach students with varying abilities and interests, but all share a love of the arts. Our school also serves as a safe space for students with a passion for things other students of the same age might deem "weird" or "nerdy".

My students had to work extremely hard and pass an audition process in order to attend our school.

They attend with a lot of excitement and passion!

My Project

I am trying to fund the purchase of 5 HP Streams for my students to use. We only have one device in our classroom currently, and it is my teacher laptop. Giving my students access to devices to share would be a game changer!

We enjoy using different learning stations in class to give my students the ability to move around and accomplish several tasks within a class period.

Being able to set up a station using the HP Streams would give my students access to more content and the ability to use technology to create new ways to show off their learning.

My students are already highly creative, and these devices would provide them with a whole new avenue of creativity to explore.
