My Students
It is time to make a change, and my students are ready! We want to make learning enjoyable, but, also valuable.
We are a very large school with over 900 students from grades 3-5.
We have many students that have a parent that is deployed, leaving the household responsibilities with one parent. It is my goal as a teacher to provide my students with every opportunity possible to help them be successful in the classroom. Being successful means communicating our learning and learning from each other.
My Project
With these benches that convert to a picnic table students in my class will be able to have a multi-use, collaborative space to complete STEAM projects and activities.
My students will be able to use these benches as theater seating during lessons, a space to perform experiments, and a place to work together on projects and activities.
With the 4 C's as a model for our classroom, collaborating, communicating, critical thinking, and creativity with be achieved in the space created by these benches. My students would be so thankful to have them in our classroom. Creating a unique learning environment for my students to learn and grow is a goal of mine.
