Students need to practice these skills in as many ways as possible, and we're in need of more hands-on ways for ours to engage mathematics. I have 21 learners who love to use hands on materials. When they get to actively work with a concept, they really shine! It is always a joy to see their eyes light up when they're playing a learning game or working with charts and activities.
