This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are asking for 5 glockenspiels to start a class set for elementary music students. As the music program grows these 2nd - 5th grade students are learning new skills.

The glockenspiels will help kids learn to read notes, play in an ensemble, the roles of an ensemble, and to sing and play at the same time.

Please take the time to consider adding to our evolving music program that serves the inner city kids of Chicago and growing refugee population. Currently our students are struggling to use virtual instruments instead of real ones. These will help young learners tangibly and simply make musi. Thank you for your kindness!
