Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Composition notebooks are made of sturdy materials that help last the duration of a semester-long class. My students use these daily to complete their warmups and need resources that can withstand daily use and even abuse as students put them away every day.

These notebooks will be used specifically for their bellringers that help get class started.

Students will be expected to respond to a quote, a statistic, a map, a political cartoon, etc., every single day and defend their opinions. We need something that can stand up to daily use.

In addition, I have added on pencils and glue sticks which are always needed in class. Students will be writing every single day and gluing things into their bellringer journals often. A benefit to these journals is that students can flip back to a prior day or lesson to remind themselves what we were learning about as well - hopefully increasing content retention leading to better assessment scores.
