This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
By donating to my project, you will provide a chance for my students to have better support to be prepared, come what may. Never running out of materials will allow students to be confident in themselves and on-task each day ready to work. In one day I go through at least 20 to 30 pencils and a third a pack of scratch paper. My students need supplies so that they can focus on their education. You will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
Making sure students are comfortable is an essential component in motivating them.
I work at a Title I school; this school is receiving federal funds for Title I students. The basic principle of Title I is that schools with large concentrations of low-income students will receive supplemental funds to assist in meeting students' educational goals. It is vital that I have enough materials ready for these students to be fully engaged in optimal time. I would like to have materials that will hold their interests and keep them engaged in my classroom by making creative math interactive notebooks. By donating to my project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, but you will also ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. Having all the materials and tools needed to create interactive notebooks like pencils and erasers.
Children of all learning styles learn best by doing,its our job to supply them with the tools.
