Since laminating my top ones student work has actually improved. Its like they are competing to be the best one so it will get laminated. It's amazing. One kid said, \"I can keep this for like ever.\" and I told them, \"well ya\" I never would have imagined that a laminator in the classroom and the ability to laminate their work would make such a big difference emotionally. \r\nI did know the difference it would make on the wall. And man oh man it's great! The work goes up and comes back down in one piece. I am so grateful really and truly.\r\nWhen you look at the photos notice the difference between the work that is laminated and the work that is not. They have both been up the same amount of time and ( a few days) and you can clearly see how the others are getting messed up. Some have even had the staples pulled out. The laminated work is still just as nice as the day it was made. It was you, Optimum that made this possible. The vocabulary and word choice the authors use are top notch.\r\n\r\nThe \"Invent to Learn Guide to Fun Classroom Technology Projects\" is a wonderful resource that we are going to delve into the last few weeks of school. Student Binders are the perfect way to set up students for a successful school year and teach them the organizational skills they will need for life. As an AVID campus, students are expected to maintain a binder, but sadly most parents do not buy them because of the cost. They are expected to keep it organized using the AVID methods they have been taught being taught during the year. \r\n\r\nStudents were so excited to finally have there very own binder that would fit all of their notebooks! Many students had smaller, 1-inch binders, and would still have to carry items outside of their binder, which made it easier to transition from class to class. \r\n\r\nIt is my hope that the organizational skills that the students have learned this year, travel with them to their next grade and beyond!","fullyFundedDate":1736196806442,"projectUrl":"project/student-binders-improve-student-organiz/8766058/","projectTitle":"Student Binders: Improve Student Organization!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Salais","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2215984_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1693665505564","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2215984"},{"teacherId":2215984,"projectId":9034842,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your contribution to my classroom. The impact that these materials have made for me as a teacher and to my students and their learning has been invaluable.\r\n\r\nThe VersaTile kits that were provided to my students allowed them more freedom when it came to their learning during intervention time. There are many different styles of learning and we want the students to be able to experience all types. VersaTiles are a hands-on learning system that uses a workbook and tiles to help students practice math and literacy skills. It's a screen-free alternative to traditional skills practice. Students enjoy using them during small group rotations because of the self-checking and active learning that is provides them. A a teacher, I have seen the improvement in the targeted stills I have chosen to use the VersaTiles for.\r\n\r\nMost students don't even realize they are practicing important skills because of how much they enjoy using them! When students are not working independently, they are in small group and thankfully with our new benches, we have more space at the table to work and don't have to worry about pulling up or carrying our regular chairs over.\r\n\r\nWhile their uses may seem small in the grand scheme of things, these small changes have added a new and fun routine to our classroom learning.","fullyFundedDate":1736961734046,"projectUrl":"project/engaging-interventions/9034842/","projectTitle":"Engaging Interventions!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Salais","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2215984_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1693665505564","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2215984"},{"teacherId":6775788,"projectId":8611220,"letterContent":"My students have been busy working with the supplies that your donations provided. \r\n\r\nThe first thing we did was get organized with the binders, pencils, erasers, and pencil bags.
