My students are amazing. They come to school prepared to learn and try their best to achieve our high expectations every day.
Our school is located in a low-income area with most students receiving free or reduced-price lunch.
Most of my students have limited resources outside of school, so our school may provide their only chance to experience enriching activities. My goal every year is to create an environment that is warm, safe, and welcoming while maintaining a fun, creative learning atmosphere.
The ultimate goal of education is to prepare students for the real world. Reinforcing the importance of organizational skills helps students experience success throughout their lives. Having good organizational skills is not a trait you inherit, so it must be taught. To practice these skills I am requesting storage items with boxes and bookcases to help students practice organizing books, assignments, and personal items.
Students that practice neatness and good organizational skills increase their chances of having great educational success throughout their life.
The potted plants will enrich our classroom environment by helping combat stress and feelings of anxiety. And, I have also requested a laptop tray to create extra space for students to complete their work. Having these tools will help my students gain valuable instructional time and help our classroom run smoother. Starting the school year with these items will help me maintain an organized system throughout the school year. Thank you for taking to time to read our project. We hope it caught your interest.
