Technology of today is amazing. The things available today were only a dream when I was in school. I want to teach my twentieth century students using twentieth century technology. I know this will add excitement and interest to my Earth science classroom.
I teach Earth science to freshmen in high school and want to make my class as fun and exciting as possible since they must pass my class to graduate.
Students love it when we do different activities while learning. I try to alter what we do to keep my students interested and attentive. My students will compete with all other high school students to get into college. I want them to have every edge I can possibly provide for them. Using exciting technology will only help my students learn.
My Project
I am lucky that I have a Smartboard in my classroom. I want to have numerous lessons available to help my students to use it to its full potential. I need CDs which will help me to cover the curriculum, be interesting, add visuals and be interactive with my students. Students are very knowledgeable about technology. Having these CDs which allow my students to interact, will help my students learn the curriculum plus add fun and excitement to our classroom. Earth science is a class which is important to all of our lives. I want to help my students to understand and value these topics while adding activity to my classroom.
Thank you for reading my proposal.
I know I learn better by doing and I want to incorporate this into my classroom with interactive CDs. I hope that you will be a part of the success of my classroom by supporting my students. Have a great day!
