I teach first graders at a Title I primary school in South Carolina. More than half of students are from low income households. My first grade classroom is a place where students can learn through questioning, collaboration, and discovery.
It is my job to create an environment that fosters learning while being active and having fun!
I am always looking for new ways to meet my students' needs and challenge them as learners. I need your help to make that happen.
These bright young learners are so eager to learn and thrive in the first grade. It is my honor to guide them through this year of discovery and growth.
One of my goals this year is to provide my students with more opportunities to be physically active. I want to make this happen both inside of the classroom and outside of the classroom. It is so important for children to be physically fit from a young age.
I would like my young students to learn new gross motor and balance activities, while being active and building cooperation skills!
My students need a outdoor and indoor activities such as a class parachute, ring toss game, lawn bowling, and an egg and spoon race game.
Thank you for funding our project and supporting students as they grow and develop. I cannot wait to see the excitement on their faces when they receive these games and activities!
