This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

For all of us, there are moments when the world seems overwhelming. This is particularly true for kids who struggle with learning and communication, as many of them feel frustrated and let down when they can't seem to put their big feelings into words.

Having a peaceful area where my students can go to can aid them in regaining their composure.

With the help of this soothing rug, feeling cushions, and calming corner books, stuffies and supplies, I will be able to offer kids who feel overwhelmed during therapy sessions or at other times of the day a quiet, secure place to retreat to.

We can prepare kids for success in school and in life by teaching them how to control their emotions.
