This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students love playing together. These students like hands-on learning activities. They participate in STEAM fairs, STEM clubs, and Science clubs. They take education very seriously but they need to be constantly engaged in learning to maximize success. These students love technology, manipulatives, and problem based learning experiences. These students love to lead their learning experiences. Our students are very curious by nature. Our scholars need more resources to help them maximize learning potential.
Our school is a STEAM project based school.
Students learn the importance of critical thinking and teamwork. Our curriculum helps our scholars build confidence and reach new level of abilities. Our parents came to our charter school with hopes of receiving the best education they could get in a public school. We need your help to make our school all it can be. These scholars are already very smart. They just need a leveled playing field. Our scholars need a small boost to help them prepare to compete globally be having access to advanced technology.
My Project
I am asking for flexible seating, an art farm and an arts and supply center. These supplies will help my scholars be comfortable when learning. Cushioned seats will help students focus better and will reduce fidgeting. My scholars are active and love to move and this will also give them comfortability when watch educational films in the front of the class.
My students love being able to learn in a variety of methods.
They are very ambitious and want to have an ant farm to study ants. They also need the arts and craft supply center to create inventions, STEAM fair projects, compete in math competitions, build robotics, code games, and engineering amusement park rides.
My scholars are amazing. They are artists, dancers, green leaders and more. This fast paced hands on learning environment id enhanced when students have a comfortable cushion to sit or kneel on.
