My Students

My students need supplies for Biology to engage in hands-on learning.

My classroom is composed of a wide range of learners with individual and unique needs.

I teach a classroom of 13 students ranging from grade 9 through 12. Each student has their own desire to learn, however, require a hands-on approach to fully engage with the curriculum.

Learning out of a textbook is an excellent way to introduce materials, but utilizing science projects​ would create meaningful connections that would last a lifetime.

My Project

All of my students want to become more active in learning about biology. They enjoy the material, but as a class are looking to rejuvenate the approach. By gaining access to owl pellet dissection mini-kits and a genetics DNA extraction and amplification kit, my class will learn what it means to become a scientist.

Every student deserves the opportunity to learn, engage, and become immersed in the curriculum.

These toolkits will allow my extremely diverse population of learners to become engaged in our content while creating lasting memories. My goal is to create these memories with each student so they​ will look forward to continuing their education.
